Team Tonka Royal,

We played hard and just finished short of the championship, however your young men should be proud of coming together as a team.

I want to thank Coaches Shane Glenn and Mark Boge, along with coach and team manager Alex Moore for their time and efforts with the team.  Thank you parents for supporting the coaches and your players.  And a big thank you for the players who worked on bringing their positive attitudes and best efforts throughout the season.  Coach Glenn and I wanted to acknowledge the players as the most improved team we've had in our coaching history, keep it up with your baseball and your personal lives.

For the parents of MacClain, Gabe, Cameron and Casey, you can contact me for picking up your trophies.

Tonight at 6 pm at Bennett 1, we play for the championship!  I'll try to arrive before 5:15 pm for batting practice, please come early as we will continue to play with the same 9 players from last night's game.  I hope you can also stay after the game for our end of season wrap up.

We play Thursday, June 30 at 6 pm at Freeman 2 and I will try to make it by 5:15 pm for batting practice.  It also looks like we'll play again on Friday at Bennett either at 4 or 6 pm. 

Please come early and let me know if you will be late as we now only have 9 players for this Thursday's game and the rest of the tournament.

As I understand the tournament bracket we are the 5th seed so our first tournament game is Monday, June 27 at 6 pm at Bennett 1.

If we win we play on Tuesday, June 28 at 6 pm at Freeman 2, if we lose we play on Wednesday, June 29 at 6 pm at Freeman 2.

I have already heard from 3 players who will be out this week, so we will only be playing with 10 players.

Please let me know before noon Monday, if you can't make the game.

Tonight we have practice from 7-8:30 pm at F2 and our last regular season game is this Saturday from 9:30-noon at B1.  

I have already heard from 2 players they will not be available for the tournament games next week.  If you haven't already communicated with me and you won't be available for this Saturday's game or next week's tournament games, please contact me as we're down to at 11 players so far.
